New Orleans, Louisiana: Thanks for a GREAT time!

I’m back in Vancouver after an amazing trip to Louisiana (New Orleans & Shreveport). I’ve wanted to see New Orleans for a long time, especially after reading about it in Anne Rice’s novel “Exit To Eden” (terrible movie but a decent book.)

I love New Orleans! Historic…& haunted? Hmmm:-)

I went to the notorious haunted house “The House Of Shock”, did a “Haunted New Orleans” walking tour, a swamp tour to see Gators, plus the historic Voo Doo museum, the Pharmacy Museum, The Katrina Hurricane exhibit, the WW2 museum and the oldest convent in the US. Meg & I also did a road trip to Shreveport.

Meg & I went to the WW2 museum. I highly recommend it.

I also listened to great music, ate delicious food & had numerous interactions with charming & friendly locals. I loved walking around the French Quarter looking at the beautiful old buildings & learning about its fascinating history.

Meg & I did a road trip to Shreveport & found the crumbling parts of the city scenic…& sometimes unusual…

Lastly I’ll mention a memorable experience we had at the Sunday night market on Frenchman Street just on the edge of the French Quarter in New Orleans. We spotted a women with a typewriter & a sign saying “Smut While U Wait”. Here’s what she does at her little spot on Frenchman street…& what she did for each of us: she spends a few minutes interviewing you, asking questions about your sexual interests & other things, it kind of felt like going to confession or a therapist (in a good way)…then she sends you away for 20 minutes while she types up a smutty story custom just for you. She then gives you the option of having her read it out loud…in private or in front of your friends. Well, Ceara, Meg & I all took our turns listening to a very personal, custom sexy story written for each of us. Thrilling…and rather intimate, when you think about it. Certainly one of the most uniquely memorable experiences from this trip!

I’m a lousy Financial Domme

I have a great respect for the ladies who succeed at Financial Domination. It’s a legitimate fetish and it takes skill to be good at it. I know there are literally thousands of gals out there who think it’s as easy as sticking out their palm & saying “Pay me, pig!” Well, it isn’t. I’ve had some enlightening conversations with some of the best FinDoms in the world, including my dear friends Ceara Lynch and Meggerz.

As I will soon be enjoying a luxurious trip paid for in full by Meggerz financial slave I thought it would be humorous to list ta few ways I’ve failed over the years as a Financial Domme. Hey, ya can’t be good at everything, eh!

– A pay pig once took me shopping for a purse. He took me to Coach (designer purses costing hundreds of dollars) but I couldn’t find what I wanted so I dragged him sulking to Aldo where he reluctantly bought me a $30 purse I wanted (& I used quite a bit!)

– A guy who used to like to show off how wealthy he was sent me dozens of pairs of high end designer shoes. He was pissed when I sent him back the ones that didn’t fit. I thought I was being considerate? *sigh* Canadians.

– A client once gave me a Louis Vuitton purse. I gave it to a girlfriend because I don’t like to put my valuables in a bag that has so much value someone might steal it. He was insulted.

– That same client gave me a gorgeous coat with a real fur collar. I gave it away too. I would only wear fur if it was vintage…and even then I’d feel bad about it.

– a rich fan once paid me to fly to another city to go on a date with him. He over-paid me $1000 and told me I could keep it. I sent it back to him anyway…(but he wouldn’t accept it so it got returned to me again.)

– I’m really bad at spending time on webcam/skype. While I’m not there guys send me dozens of messages begging for me to come on cam, offering generous tributes…these would be horny guys ripe for the picking (I guess?) yet…I still rarely bother with webcam.

Hey, it’s not that I don’t like money. Sure, I don’t like designer purses, obviously…but money is good. It’s security for me as I’m a saver, not a spender. Yet the Financial Slaves & I just don’t usually click. What ever it is they’re looking for, I don’t have it. I’m okay with that.

My recent trip to Vegas as was so eventful I’ll have several blog posts to cover all the action. I’m starting with the end, for no particular reason.

My last morning in Vegas I filmed this vid of myself & Meggerz trying out the Hangover Heaven service. They come to your hotel room (if you want) & give you an IV drip of fluids to hydrate you & get you back on your feet. We loved it! Vegas, seriously…

Ceara & I enjoying the spa.

I’ve been in Vegas for a couple of days now, sharing a posh hotel room with Ceara Lynch & attending workshops/networking events at a business conference.

No strippers, no gambling, no drinking, nothing crazy. Not yet anyway. The week is only just beginning and as the days pass more & more of my beloved peers will be pouring into Vegas for the AVN/AEE (porn convention). It’s probably going to get messy.

For now, it’s all business. It has been an interesting experience. Female business owners in the adult world are the minority. A few times we have been the only females in the room learning about ways to grow our businesses. Today we attended a women’s brunch. There were about a dozen of us…with hundreds of attendees at this convention that gives you some indication of the small percentage of females.

As things were winding down today we took some time to enjoy the spa. We’ve also squeezed in a little filming & lots of quality time connecting. It’s been great so far. We’ve learned a lot, made some good connections & had a nice time.

Looking ahead at the week I have a fairly busy schedule with filming & partying (schmoozing & business networking with booze & music really)…but I have been careful to leave time to relax, go to the spa & be spontaneous. I’m looking forward to it.

Happy New Year!

It’s the 1st day of the new year & I feel an appropriate blog post would be a ‘highlights of 2013’ post or something timely…but ya know what? I don’t have it in me to do an epic post today. How are YOU feeling today? Did you have a big night last night? Have you had a lot going on in the last couple weeks? If so, you’ll understand why this post will be fairly brief.

Last week I was in Mexico with the black stud filming & frolicking. “Frolicking”? Cut me some slack today.

I’m supposed to be filming ‘trades’ with a few ladies & sometimes I have a hard time thinking of scene ideas when it’s just 2 Dominant ladies & no slave.
